Brian Decker
As one of the founders of Absolute Return Solutions, Inc., Brian was instrumental in introducing and implementing the absolute return philosophy into the company. Today it has become their signature service.
A graduate of the University of Washington with degrees in finance and marketing, Brian has been helping people with their wealth management needs since 1986. He honed his financial skills working for some of the largest investment firms in the nation.
Jim Black
A founding partner, Jim’s responsibilities include all aspects of financial and tax strategy planning. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the financial planning industry, and now devotes his efforts to the distribution planning arena. His main focus is helping clients to “Retire” based on their own terms. For Absolute Returns Solutions, Inc. that means focusing on desired income and estate goals; striving to better assure lifetime income and asset preservation.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in international finance, Jim went on to earn his MBA from Willamette University. Jim is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP)
